Oi, I'm Jana! Brand designer based in London,
originally from Brazil.

I’m interested in the space where strategy and visual expression meet — creating brands that have a clear point of view, a strong visual language and the flexibility to evolve.

My path into design has been anything but linear.

I originally studied architecture in Brazil before moving to New York to broaden my perspective. It was there that I discovered design as a craft. I taught myself graphic design, studied at Pratt, and spent time working in fashion along the way.

Each experience left something behind. Architecture gave me an appreciation for structure, proportion and visual systems. Fashion taught me to work quickly, collaborate closely and think about how ideas live in culture. Teaching myself design gave me a curiosity and independence that I’ve carried with me ever since.

Since moving to London, I’ve worked across editorial, campaigns, brand identity and art direction. Over time, my focus has become increasingly brand-led: building identities and visual systems that are distinctive, coherent and considered, and thinking about how they come to life beyond a single piece of work.

I enjoy working from the big idea down to the smallest detail, finding the visual language that makes a brand feel like itself, then building the system that allows it to show up consistently without becoming predictable.
