A campaign turning melanoma warning signs into culturally relevant beauty statements for people of color.
People of color face disproportionately late melanoma diagnoses due to systemic underrepresentation in medical research and AI diagnostic tools. Beauty Spotters was created to bridge this gap by transforming the asymmetrical shapes of early warning signs into bold, vibrant graphic patterns inspired by fashion and London urban culture. The campaign embedded life-saving education directly into everyday routines through custom nail stickers that function as wearable diagnostic prompts. Working on the design team, I co-developed the visual language, pattern design, and campaign layouts—balancing elevated editorial aesthetics with critical healthcare messaging. The project won a 2025 Clio Award”.
