A contemporary English wine identity championing British farming and modern winemaking.

Knollbury Fort was created to challenge the assumption that great wine must be imported and to champion the potential of English terroir. Named after a historic hillfort in Oxfordshire, the brand needed an identity that balanced historic heritage with modern, elevated sophistication. We developed a visual system anchored by
a monogram logo, weaving together a fort motif, crossed swords, and the letter ‘K’, paired with a Gothic typeface, an elegant serif, and clean, unpretentious label architecture. Leading the design across visual identity, packaging and web,
I established a confident visual language that demystifies English winemaking
while asserting its place on the table.
