The Insight
The challenge was to show Olympia’s shift from venue to destination, with the campaign signalling a broader visitor experience and enough scale and energy to support the relaunch.

the idea
Now Playing” framed Olympia as London’s next headline act. Music-poster-inspired art direction, theatrical photography, and a monochromatic image treatment gave the campaign energy, immediacy, and a strong sense of scale.

Olympia needed a campaign to support its relaunch as the venue expanded far beyond events into a much broader visitor experience. The challenge was to position it as a true destination, something that could hold dining, fitness, shopping, and live entertainment under one idea.
“Now Playing” was developed to position Olympia as London’s next headline act, a place where people could find the experience they were looking for and feel part of something bigger. The art direction was inspired by music and cultural event posters, bringing immediacy and energy to the campaign. A monochromatic image treatment, theatrical photography, and strong information hierarchy gave the system a colourful and striking feel overall. The result was a campaign that presented Olympia as a full-volume entertainment destination.
I led the design and contributed to the art direction across the pitch, working closely with the Creative Director and Art Director to shape the layout, campaign visuals, and overall direction.
Imagery shown is a curated mix of borrowed photography, used to bring the concept to life.
